Hey guys. It’s time again for The Kindness Project, in which
I’ll tell you about someone else’s brilliant idea to spread kindness around.
I’m really excited about today’s post because it combines kindness and books.
The idea is simple: You host a book donation party with Milk+ Bookies—maybe at work or school or (and I love this idea) at a
birthday party. Everyone involved brings a book they want to donate, writes a
note on a provided bookplate, and then gets a cool sticker that says “I donated.”
The donations go to children in the community who don’t have access to
books.
The goal is to improve childhood literacy, spark children’s
imaginations, and make kids all-around better people—because that’s what books
do.
Instead of going on an on, you can check out the Milk + Bookies website or watch the intro video below, which just happens to have
really cute animated illustrations.
